Below is a list of summer opportunities for students. These programs are not connected to or endorsed by the Lewisburg Area School District. It is merely a list of opportunities that are available. Please consider you child's needs and research the fit for your child. (This page is updated as the new programs become available.)

Travel Abroad with Classmates
To qualify students must have excellent behavior, good school attendance, and demonstrate academic effort with school work. This is not a school trip. It is a private educational and service trip.

Duke University 2016 Honors Institute for Middle School Students
Designed for students from around the world who wish to excel academically and accelerate their learning over the summer, the Honors Institute for Middle School Students is a 3-week, non-credit-bearing program. This international and elite program challenges young students to explore advanced topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) within a supportive academic and residential environment. Camp Cadet
A one (1) week law enforcement academy experience of The Susquehanna Valley Law Enforcement Camp Cadet will be held June. Cadets, students 12-15 years of age, both male and female will develop team skills, character and moral awareness, citizenship responsibilities, awareness of career opportunities, better understanding of role of law enforcement in community, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline and self-respect. http://www.svlecc.com/
